The WebAssemblyLine Manifesto

WebAssemblyLineâ„¢ is a brand new approach to Website development.

Small business deserves good Websites too

We believe that good Websites should not require huge budgets and large teams of developers. There should be a tried and tested, robust yet flexible framework that allows for efficient and cost effective Website development. WebAssemblyLine represents such framework that spans the entire Website development life cycle and allows the small business to purchase and maintain a Website as good as large companies; all for a fraction of the cost.

Website development should be standardized

Standardization is the name of the game. Standardization can be considered cornerstone of the modern era. Manufacturers standardize the process of assembling vehicles, and businesses standardize the way they exchange data. Each Website has certain similarities and characteristics, why not standardize the development process and make it efficient? WebAssemblyLine is the first attempt to standardize the entire Website development. You should be able to develop each Website as simply as 1-2-3.

It should be easy to develop GREAT Websites

Great Websites are easy to find, easy to navigate, provide good first impression, provide good and fresh content, adhere to Web standards, can be developed quickly and changed on a whim. They are easy to maintain, expand, re-design, there should be an easy way to extend the functionality and you should be able to experiment without affecting the "live" version. The problem is that it is simply not possible to achieve all this without a well thought out framework and standardized process. WebAssemblyLine provides the framework, standardized process and integrated tools to allow all this without any installation necessary.

The content is what matters

We believe that "Content is King!" Like it or not, that is the truth. Less time should be spent fiddling with the design and making the Websites "unique" (in design sense) and more time should be spent on writing great content that makes the Website UNIQUE (in content/information sense). WebAssemblyLine is content centric. This means it "forces" the users to concentrate on content and less time fiddling around with decorating.

The process makes difference not tools

Tools are important. That's what separates humans from animals. But tools alone are not enough. We believe that it is important to use the right tools for the right purpose and in the right sequence. We feel that this is the problem with most of the tools (if not all of them) in the Website development industry. They give you a tool... and now you're on your own. WebAssemblyLine has been developed to combat this precedent. We give you a tool that guides you along a well established and tested Website development process.

Small Website development companies do the best work

The advantage of small Website development companies is that they are small and can offer the personal attention a serious Website development customer needs. The disadvantage of small Website development companies is that they are small and do not have the staff to accomodate growth. We believe that the answer is in efficiency and standardization of their Website development and Website management processes. WebAssemblyLine has been developed by a small Website development company for small Website development companies.

Websites should not have to be re-developed from scratch

We believe that there should be no reason to EVER re-develop a Website from scratch. We believe that a Website development customer should not have to pay for the same work twice. Unfortunately, the lack of standardized develpment process, no separation of content and presentation (design) and the missing Website framework made this impossible in the past. WebAssemblyLine allows the entire Website design to be swapped, whole sections of the site rearranged, submission forms re-skinned. All this without reinventing what's already there.
